Hi, I'm Cassie! Thanks for being here!
In simple terms, ScrapHappyClub is a one-woman small business that sells Scrap Packs filled with paper, stickers, ephemera, and other treasures for your junk journal, scrapbook, or vision boards. But beneath the colorful scraps, SHC is grounded in my beliefs about the power creativity holds and how life-changing artistic expression can be.
I believe that creativity should be accessible for everyone. In today's digital age, it is easy to be inspired... but often times it seems like that inspiration sizzles away pretty quickly. ScrapHappyClub is here to lower the barriers and make creativity feel approachable, welcoming, and FUN!
I also believe that there is a lot of power in the act of creating. After giving myself permission to be messy and imperfect while creating, I was able to enjoy it in a brand new way. In some of the darkest periods of my life, I found myself again through creating what some may consider to be "bad art". Sometimes the process is far more important than the finished product.
And finally, I believe that art can bring people together and build community in a beautiful way. Some of my favorite memories have been made while sitting on the floor with friends, surrounded by paper scraps and scissors and glue sticks. The world needs some extra whimsy and weirdness right now, and who knows... maybe you'll find some in one of my Scrap Packs!!
